It’s been a while since I bought any new beauty products, so I decided to go on a little spree and get some new items for my ever-growing collection.
As much as I would like to be buying new beauty products all the time, it’s no secret that it can all be a bit pricey. So I’ve been saving up to get some items that have been on my wish list for a while, an have been loving them so though I would let you know about them.
Well this one wasn’t really on my wish list, I was kind of looking for a new primer, and I’ve heard Shannon from Shaaanxo raving on about how her Urban Decay one gives her flawless skin. My skin can be very oily, so primer is an essential for me, and it’s important to find one that can control the oil. The lady at Urban Decay recommended this one to me and I can say it’s an absolute delight, it goes on soo nicely and my make-up lasts all day without oils coming through.
This product has made it’s round on YouTube, I’ve seen lots of creators such as Zoella and Samantha Maria saying how much they love it. I can be lazy sometimes when it comes to taking my makeup off, and I often use micellar water, which can be drying for your skin especially during the warmer months. This cleansing oil is super easy and quick, no need for any cloths or flannels, you just rub it on and wash it off.
Next is Benefit’s version of a brow pomade, which was released with a bunch of new brow products last year. I was previously using their pencil, but it ran out quickly and I realised sometimes it just made my eyebrows look fake and drawn on. I went for shade 4 in the Ka Brow, and it matches my brows perfectly and you don’t need much, as a little goes a long way. This product is amazing because it looks natural but you can always build it up to create a more dramatic look.
I’ve been looking for an affordable setting spray ever since I got my hands on urban decay’s all night setting spray, which I love, but is slightly too expensive for everyday use. I love a lot of NYX products so I thought I would give this spray a go, and I was really enticed by the idea of a matte finish because of my oily skin.
This nail varnish is divine, I’m pretty much been wearing it non-stop for a month, something which I don’t usually do. It’s the perfect nude shade, and I think is a very sophisticated colour, making it ideal for work and interview situations. I have always loved the formula of OPI nail varnish, it always leaves a perfect finish and works well with my Seche Vite top coat.
